We are the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. We educate talented designers, animators, filmmakers and marketing communication experts.
We have 13 art studios, the Department of Marketing Communications and the Department of Theoretical Studies. Our graduates become successful and respected team members in communications agencies, in the media, in television and film production, in animation and post-production studios, in graphic design studios, in the exhibition industry, in the glass industry, in the furniture and automotive industries, working as photographers, fashion designers, product and industrial designers, or shoe and accessory designers. Future graduates will include students from the newly opened Game Design studio.
In addition, in 2016, the UPPER Centre for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship was established at the faculty to support the creative community in the Zlín region while connecting the faculty with companies and organisations that need services from designers, filmmakers and other creative professions. The faculty also includes the university gallery G18, which focuses on trends and tendencies shaping contemporary design and art.
