Periphery

In my work, I often reflect on the landscape that is close to my home.
It is located on the border of the city and the countryside which is
characterized by a significant influence of human activity. I often enter
the landscape at night. The scenes I found remind me of scenes from
sci-fi movies, where astronauts discover the landscapes of another planet.

In 1969, Neil Armstrong left his first mark on the moon. It was
the first human entering the environment of an unknown alien landscape.
This act inspired me to create the Periphery cycle. I found myself
at night scene holding only a flashlight and discovering strange-looking
objects and phenomena that move away from my idea of planet Earth.
