Alternative material

The semester project presents a ring made from an alternative material, complementing Ondřej Stára’s collection “Be My Plasteline.”

The ring appears very childlike and naive, but every motif featured on the ring carries hidden symbolism, just like the rings in Ondřej Stára’s collection.

In the first phase, Stára modeled all his jewelry from Fimo clay to return to the beginnings of his creative process, to childhood. The same foundation was chosen for this complementary piece of jewelry—the technique of embroidery.
