Basic jewelry-making techniques

Three pieces of jewelry were created as part of the Theory and Technology course. In this course, students were introduced to basic jewelry-making techniques at the beginning of their studies – cutting, bending, grinding, polishing, and setting stones.

The first piece of jewelry created was a brass ring, designed to practice cutting with a coping saw. This was followed by a silver ring set with a 3.5 mm zircon, and the last piece of jewelry is a silver earcuff, which combines the experience gained from the previous two pieces. It is also made of silver with a 3 mm zircon pendant.
