Basic jewelry-making techniques

This series of three pieces of jewellery was created as part of the course Theory and Technology, where we were introduced to basic materials and craft techniques. The first object is a silver ring set with a zircon, through which I learned the technique of stone setting. The second ring, made of brass, focused on practicing precise cutting with a jeweller’s saw. The final piece is a silver pendant in which I applied and combined the skills acquired while working on the rings. Together, the set reflects a process of learning and gradually developing fundamental jewellery-making techniques.
