The project interprets SPACE TO SPACE as a transition and tension between different spaces, emphasizing their distinctness.
The formal language of the jewelry is inspired by a meteorite, perceived as a symbol of transition between spaces (space to space) — between outer space and Earth, between the abstract and the tangible. The meteorite functions here as a carrier of both tension and connection between these two realities.
The materials used highlight differences and contrasts that are reflected and intertwined within the individual pieces. Tension arises between the precious and the accessible, the natural and the synthetic, the precise and the raw, making the material itself the primary bearer of meaning.
The set includes a pair of asymmetrical earrings — one silver earring set with a Swiss Blue topaz and the other made of concrete. The asymmetry deliberately disrupts the traditional notion of jewelry as a harmonious pair and emphasizes the contrast between the two worlds. The topaz was chosen as a natural mineral whose vivid color is the result of technological treatment, creating another contrast at the boundary between nature and technology. The stone does not function as decoration but as a metaphor for our contemporary, technologically mediated perception of space.
The concrete earring, by contrast, symbolizes the reality of the planet — its mass, weight, and material substance — to which the cosmic object, the meteorite, ultimately always relates.
The necklace functions as a connecting element of the entire set, physically and conceptually linking the individual spaces and materials.
