The House Ring was created as a symbol of a signet ring. Its house-shaped form refers to the place where we grow up and live – a space of meetings, family, and relationships we share with others. It symbolizes what remains hidden behind closed doors, within four walls. It is these quiet moments and experiences that subtly shape us and leave an imprint within us – a personal seal we carry throughout our lives.
The use of old photographs helps evoke a particular atmosphere. The scenes depicted in the photographs take place around the family table, which can also be seen at the center of the house’s structure. It is the table at which we sit together with everyone who visits the home.
