These pieces were created during an intensive course at the beginning of the first semester and represent the first steps in mastering fundamental jewellery-making techniques.
The ring collection served as a practical exercise focused on working with materials and tools. While making the first ring from brass, we explored basic technological processes such as cutting with a jeweller’s saw, filing, and various surface-finishing methods. The second ring, made of silver, focused on more advanced techniques, particularly soldering and setting a stone into a bezel.
The remaining two works form an authorial collection consisting of a silver necklace and earrings with a hammered surface, combining acquired technical skills with a personal artistic approach.
