The (Z)lom jewelry collection on the Space to Space theme consists of a necklace and bracelet made of folded paper printed with contour maps. Folding a flat surface creates significant fractures that completely change the original readability of the map and transform it into a spatial structure. The two-dimensional visualization of the world begins to literally have a different dimension. The fractures of space change our perspective both optically and mentally. The reference point in this perspective for us can be our current or another specific location.
These bodies are represented by brass components with inlaid topazes, which are details on the paper necklace. Two different types of folding and two types of graphic maps are used for the paper jewelry itself. The jewelry is finished with brass components that use two types of fastening, a hook with an eye and magnets.
