A plague hut

The project is dedicated to the reinterpretation of art style within modern digital possibilities. I decided to focus on the period of paganism in medieval Russia. The object of research and realization is a Plague Hut. Pagans believed that even after death the soul should find a home and have everything necessary for “life”. The tree trunk separated the world of the dead and the living. My goal was to completely reconstruct the image of such a building. The result is a short mystical film created in Blender using DaVinci Resolve and Substance Painter.
