I created a poster for the competition for International Compost Awareness Week 2024 with the slogan COMPOST… Nature’s Climate Champion! In my illustration, anyone who supports a sustainable and responsible lifestyle becomes a champion. With the naive line of the drawing, I refer to the simplicity of composting itself. The illustration is unpolished, organic. In the same way, nothing is perfect in nature. Everything develops, transforms.
The main idea of the poster was the eternal cycle of composting and renewal in nature. Compost as the main theme unites all the windows of the poster mosaic into one whole. Motifs from the individual stages of composting alternate here, from decomposition to the joy of a new beginning. Anyone can compost. From earthworm to man, we can all do our part… And honest work will bear fruit.
This poster was awarded by the committee of International Compost Awareness Week and chosen as one of the top 14 posters among hundreds of registered creators from 76 countries of the world.
