compress – less is more

The microsite is designed in the spirit of the motto ‘less is more.’ It focuses on image files and their compression. A brutalist approach has been chosen for the design. The raster images on the page are minimized in size—maximizing compression and removing metadata. The work is uncompromisingly limited to just three basic colors: blue, black, and white. To reduce the number of glowing sub-pixels, the emphasis is primarily on black and blue. The white color is reserved almost exclusively for text.
