My main goal in this thesis was to gain a deeper understanding and mastery of Motion
Capture technology and the Unreal Engine software. I wanted to show their capabilities and
possibilities in an attractive way. The result will be a short CGI cinematic film along with
posters. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the study of MoCap technology and
Unreal Engine software, as well as learning about storytelling, storyboarding and video post
production. The practical part will mirror creating animations using MoCap, creating
character and environments in Unreal Engine and various aspects of post-production such as
colour editing and video editing.
