This project is an interactive audiovisual installation that combines image, movement and space into a fluid and meaningful whole. Using sensors and software tools, it allows viewers to enter the digital environment and become part of its changing action. The installation thematizes the proliferation of micro- and nano-plastics – from their decomposition in the environment to their invisible penetration into the human body. The symbol of a plastic spoon, whose weight corresponds to the amount of plastic particles found in the human brain, becomes a metaphor for the invisible but present.

Technical side
The project was implemented in the TouchDesigner environment. Kinect sensor in combination with MediaPipe plugin was used to capture motion and interactions. The system allows natural physical interaction of the viewer with visual scenes in real time.
