For my website design focused on the presentation of any font, I chose “COVID Infected”, created by the Czech studio Najbrt. The font impressed me with its cheekiness, originality and I find it very amusing. One of the challenges I perceived in using it for this project is that this particular font currently contains only one cut and versal and therefore its presentation can be more content-intensive on the web. Considering the feelings the font evokes in me, I approached the whole design in a playful way. Here I use elements reminiscent of a slightly gaming environment, a garish green-neon colour and work with the movement of the characters in different ways.
