The EU Uniform for Expo Osaka 2025 responds to the theme “Designing a Future Society for Our Lives” through a gender-neutral, modular uniform system that combines timeless silhouettes with contemporary production technologies. The design integrates digital pattern generation to enhance comfort, functionality, and precision of fit.
A neutral color palette ensures versatility and longevity, while a custom EU-inspired woven pattern introduces a distinctive identity through subtle geometric symbolism referencing unity and inclusivity. Sustainable principles are applied through optimized pattern construction, durable materials, and a focus on long-term use, promoting mindful consumption and reduced waste.
The project presents the uniform as both functional attire and a representation of a unified, inclusive, and forward-looking European society.
