The inspiration behind this project happened to be my great grandmother’s drawings. These (more than fifty years old) patterns were meant to be embroidered on our family shirts. My main idea was to finish her work by transferring the drawings into digital realm, clean the drawings and subsequently transfer on material. Cut patterns were designed to uphold zero waste principle as well as appreciate the original folklore shaping.
