Tapestry

The collection focuses on the visual connection between the garment and the original, hand-woven tapestry, which was specially created for the collection, and thus refers to the bachelor’s thesis mapping the history of the Moravian Tapestry Manufactory in Valašské Meziříčí. Together, they point to traditional craftsmanship, preserve simple, clean shapes, and with their visual form, consolidate a view of new possibilities in the combination of both artistic directions – textile art and clothing.
