Jasmina

Jasmina is a 2D isometric journey into the depths of the unconscious, gamifying therapy and transforming internal struggle into a tangible narrative. Through dreamlike metaphors and evidence-based methods, it teaches players to navigate the world of anxiety and depression. This digital space serves as a safe sanctuary for real life—it is not just an ordinary game, but an empathetic tool for personal growth, helping one find clarity even in the darkest places.

Consumed by darkness, Jasmína attempted to leave this world, only to awaken within her own mind instead of facing death. In this surreal unconscious, she finally faces her fears eye to eye. To heal from profound depression, she must navigate five stages of recovery—from the acceptance of pain to inner stability. Only at the end of this dreamlike path will she be granted another chance at a true, new beginning.

Self-Awareness – Acknowledging internal pain and the necessity for change as the first step toward healing

Dichotomy of Control – Sorting mental chaos into things we can influence and those we must let go

Cognitive Defusion – Visualizing thoughts as passing trains to create a healthy psychological distance

Radical Acceptance – the player cuts toxic ties to past regrets, realizing that moving forward is only possible once we stop fighting a reality that cannot be changed

Sensory Grounding – Using the 5-4-3-2-1 technique to anchor the mind back to the present moment
