Chess set

Chess design cut from crystal glass. The glass triangular prism captivated me with its optical properties. In the process of examining it, I created chess pieces formed by grinding into the edge of the object. The surface is reflected in the adjacent two sides and creates the illusion of a three-dimensional object inside the glass prism.
