Collaboration with Marie Lichá.
During the creation of this piece, we didn’t have a specific goal or clear outcome that we were focusing on. It was more of a process of exploration and experimentation. We allowed ourselves to be guided by our thoughts and impulses. While creating, we didn’t shy away from mistakes or failures but embraced them as part of our journey. By avoiding expectations and traditional norms, we opened the doors to new experiences and discoveries. Our work became a sort of laboratory where we explored various elements and techniques.
The installation is a combination of embroidery, glass, painting, and street art. Solid shapes, adorned with embroidery and sprayed with paint, create a contrast between traditional and modern elements. These elements are further connected with four canvases featuring floral motifs, which are also complemented by street art. Overall, this combination brings diversity, originality, and interaction between different artistic forms to our installation.
Our installation represents a unique fusion of different elements of artistic expression. The solid shapes that form the foundation of our piece are carefully decorated with embroidered stitches. These embroideries bring a handmade element and detail to the creation, breathing life into the entire composition.
