TRIBIN

Tribin is an innovative project focused on the future of waste recycling at large events, developed for Greiner, a company specializing in plastic production and processing. The main idea behind the Tribin project was to ensure easy operation, the capacity to store a large number of cups, aesthetic value, easy transport, versatility, and an excellent user experience.

Tribin consists of three vertical tubes into which event attendees can insert used cups. These cups are then automatically stacked inside the tubes, allowing for efficient storage of a large quantity of waste. Additionally, the design anticipates future use of Tribin for sorting different types of waste, which is reflected in its triangular base shape. The triangle was chosen for its advantageous properties in terms of modularity, storage efficiency, and flexible placement options.

There are three different variants of the Tribin bin:

  • Tribin Central: This version includes a central canopy that provides technical balance and enhances the aesthetic appeal of the bin.
  • Tribin Endure: This model features a reinforced metal frame for improved stability and durability, making it suitable for tougher conditions.
  • Tribin Trio: The original and basic version, offering a simple and quick tube replacement system and easy handling.

Tribin is designed to be simple and efficient for both operators and users. It aims to be functionally valuable thanks to its compact storability and visually appealing whether used alone or grouped with others. The overall goal of the Tribin project is to contribute to more sustainable waste management at events, enhance user experience, and promote environmentally responsible behavior.
