In cooperation with ZPS Tajmac, a new CNC vertical milling machine was designed. The chosen vertical layout, with a space for spindles under the machine table, allows a more efficient use of space, thanks to more compact dimensions compared to machines of a similar category. This solution makes it possible to operate several of these milling machines in the same space.
In the visualisation we can see the compactness of the proposed solution. All the places needed for operation are easily accessible. A transparent door allows access to the service mechanic, on the left side this door allows access to change tools.
This sketch shows the operating status of the milling machine. The access face does not take up additional space due to the upward opening. The space for the spindles is located directly under the machine table, the absence of a ejection belt outside the machine area does not increase the space required for operation.
