Krásná práce – turned toy

For the project Krásná práce, I choose the traditional turning craft. I created turned toys inspired by the children’s drawing of Kašpárek. Because Kasperle is a character who brings a smile on his lips not only to children but also to adults. During this project, I focused on the target group, which I had the character of Kasperle painted according to my own imagination. I selected 30 pictures from child respondents aged 9 years. I observed shapes, colors, and characteristics in their drawings. The stylization of the shapes led me to the final solution and appearance of the toys.
