In my course work on the theme of metamorphosis, I tried to depict the process of becoming estranged from a close person, such as a friend or a family member. In my personal experience, this process manifests itself as gradually forgetting the person’s appearance, while memories of them begin to blur over time. I attempted to express this through colorful machine embroidery on white textile material, which depicts silhouettes that gradually dissolve and blur.
