A pair of cubist slippers with bold straps, complemented by a similarly decorated simple clutch bag
The calla lilies are red cubist slippers, which are supposed to represent the lily of the German shoe company Rieker. On the slippers we notice distinctive dark red, almost burgundy, straps. A similar strap is provided for the clutch bag, which belongs to the slippers. As can be seen from the color and shape. I came to these sharp shapes through cubism in architecture and applied art. I drew the main similarity in shapes from the buildings: Dům U Černé Matky Boží, Učitelské domy and Trojdům under Vyšehrad. In addition to these buildings, I have found the similarity in shape in applied art, especially in Vlastislav Hofman´s vases.
