Students from FMK UTB, under the guidance of Oldrich Voyta, created a collection of women’s high-heeled shoes from recycled textile materials called “TY si IQ.” This footwear was produced during a shoemaking workshop. The material itself, “TY si IQ,” was developed in the workshops of the Slovak Ateliér71, under whose auspices a sustainable fashion show was also organized at the thirtieth Slovak Fashion Night Ball on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in New York. Thus, this footwear was also presented at the event.
The main inspiration for me was the material itself. The design of this footwear aligns with the characteristics of this material. The shoes are complemented by Preciosa crystals, which add colour and sparkle to the material.
