Pawssenger

This design is inspired by Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbor Totoro and its iconic Catbus. It takes the form of wearable high boots that combine fantastical elements with real functionality. The furry upper evokes the character’s coat, while the transparent PVC “windows” reference the bus windows and symbolically represent the passengers – in this case, the person wearing the boots. The sole is completed with a cat paw print, emphasizing the playful and whimsical nature of the design. The result is footwear that is both wearable and original, carrying a clear narrative inspired by the animated world.
