Skin Shredding Soul

The collection for Henrik Vibskov was created during my studies at Designskolen Kolding and explores the theme of discovering one’s true identity. The three pairs of shoes – from basic to avant-garde – represent different stages of this journey: hiding, searching, and ultimately revealing the self. Through shapes, colors, and transparency, I explore how we conceal and gradually uncover our true selves. The interplay of sharp and rounded edges symbolizes the uncertainty and non-linearity of this process. The collection also incorporates ECCO Apparition leather, whose translucency reinforces the theme of vulnerability and openness to the world.
