SUSTI.23

The products from the SUSTI. 23 collection are created from leftover materials, garments or products that do not serve their original purpose. The primary materials in the collection are chamois fabric, or balloon fabric, which was considered to be residual in the production of hot air balloons. The leather that complements the balloon leather, although not residual, is easier to degrade than the more common chromo leather thanks to tanning technology. For the reinforcement of the shoes I used drainage felt, the last metres of which were left over after building alterations in my home village.
