VERTIGO

This semester project is based on the theme of optical illusion, specifically drawing from an isometric grid and the principle of the Necker cube. The pattern creates a visually unstable effect in which the viewer’s brain continuously switches between perceiving protruding volumes and recessed corners. The illusion is therefore not merely decorative, but actively engages the observer in the perception of the object. The motif is applied within a minimalist urban design, where geometric clarity contrasts with the dynamic nature of the optical illusion. The result is a timeless, functional, and visually distinctive product that connects a graphic principle with applied design.
