This semester project focuses on the design of women’s high-heeled footwear within the context of the Generative Chance assignment. The result is an elegant court shoe made from cowhide leather, which was manually treated through a bleaching process using a chlorine-based cleaner.

This intervention created an irregular pattern of lighter spots that resemble the texture and coloration of snakeskin. The randomness of the chemical lightening process reflects the principle of generative design, where a controlled experiment leads to a unique visual outcome.

The black court shoe with organic light accents thus merges classic elegance with an element of unpredictability and originality.
