Atrium revitalization

The thesis deals with the design of revitalization of the currently unused atrium of the Edvard Beneš
Secondary Industrial School in Břeclav. It analyses the unsatisfactory current state and suggests
possibilities to bring life into this space, transforming it into an actively utilized school center. The
result is proposing a universal space with multiple potential uses suited to the school environment, for
example in the form of an outdoor classroom or amphitheater, supporting outdoor activities. The thesis also discusses the benefits of the atrium for the surrounding environment and the positive impact of spending time outdoors at school on students.
