The aim of my work was to design and created an object on the theme of permeation, inspired by the natural process in which water slowly penetrates between limestone rocks, purifies itself, changes its structure, absorbs and at the same time leaves traces.
The symbolism of this movement of water through stone serves as a parallel to a less visible but all the more disturbing phenomenon: the penetration of microplastics into water systems. These particles, invisible to the naked eye, become part of the water cycle and subsequently penetrate the bodies of living organisms including humans.
The object not only reminds us of the beauty of natural processes, but also warns against the disruption of balance caused by human activity.
