Mask or Illusion? The project draws inspiration from the natural camouflage of animals and their ability to visually blend into their surroundings. I deliberately place the mask around the eyes – the very place from which we observe and perceive the world. The mask creates an optical illusion and blurs the boundary between what we see and what remains hidden. The one who camouflages themselves can see you, even when you cannot see them.
