A set of two brooches created by combining silver and unconventional materials, bones of forest animals. The brooches were created under the assigned theme ‘’Natura’’.
Silver, used on the brooches, is created in the image of bone marrow and connects the individual parts of the brooches. It creates a uniform mass that evokes feelings of familiarity, but simultaneously the unknown.
The jewelry represents the last organic part of us that we leave behind. The bones represent our essence. Something that emerges to the surface after all the outer layers have been stripped away. At the same time, they confront the overly negative stance that ordinary people have towards bones as a symbol of our true self and the object itself.
