Space to Space

This piece of jewelry works with the theme of “Space to Space” as a transfer of an original space into a new one.

The raw stone here represents the memory of the place and time from which it originates. Its shape was formed without human intervention. The precise geometric construction symbolizes human order and the effort to control space.

The stone is not set into the structure harmoniously, instead, it is forced into it and held only at minimal points. The gap between the stone and the construction creates tension between natural matter and an artificial system.
