The set of two pieces of jewellery focuses on working with space and the way the pieces are worn. In my project, I expressed the space to space principle primarily through the multifunctionality of the jewellery, especially thanks to suspension on leather and cotton cords, which expand the possibilities of how and where the jewellery can be worn.
The name of the collection also refers to the term describing a flower in full bloom, which reflects the visual appearance of the jewellery, its illustrative spatial lines, and the symbolic centre with a stone. The choice of amethyst specifically relates both to the mysticism I perceive in its combination with silver and to my zodiac sign – the main mineral associated with Sagittarius.
The jewellery pieces are made from two types of silver wire with diameters of 1.2 mm and 0.8 mm and are decorated with natural ametyst – a cabochon and a faceted stone with a diameter of 7 mm.
