Visual identity concept for the Children and Youth Olympics 2028.
The project builds on the idea of the Zlín Region as a region without borders and develops this concept with a focus on the younger generation. The central motif is a running figure that disrupts a perfect square, stepping out of it and symbolizing movement, energy, and crossing boundaries. The entire visual system unfolds from the square—square patterns, work with proportions, and, for example, grid layouts for social media.
The mascot of the games also respects the pixel aesthetic and changes according to emotions and colors (green – joy, yellow – curiosity, blue – sadness…), reinforcing the playfulness and clarity of communication.
The identity honors the formal character of an Olympic event, but at the same time works with a language that is visually attractive, understandable, and close to younger audiences and young athletes.
