Design na hranici (Design on the Edge) is a festival in Zlín that showcases current trends in design. It emphasizes the intersection of various creative disciplines and invites professionals who can effectively communicate their knowledge to both experts and the general public. The festival is intended for both design enthusiasts and industry professionals.
For the visual concept of this festival, I chose the motif of a camera frame — symbolizing the designer as someone who “frames the image”: deciding what is in focus, what is trending, and what should remain beyond the lens. This idea is visually supported by the use of a colorful gradient, representing the constant movement and evolution within the world of design.
