The goal was to create a campaign to support foster care. In my design, I work with the color palette of Zlín, which includes black, white, and yellow. I complement the Zlín yellow with orange and blue to make the design feel lively and positive. The logo is inspired by the symbolism of an adult embracing a child, which represents the background and care that foster parents provide to children. From this element, I created a playful children’s pattern that is used on posters and other materials. The design also features photographs of hands, symbolizing the helping hand that a foster parent extends to a child. This symbolism is represented through two “rectangles,” which are meant to express this gesture, and I used them as layouts for other design elements in the campaign.
