The aim of my bachelor thesis was to create a visual style for the documentary film “The Value of Man”. The director is Marie Vosáhlová, a student of Masaryk University in Brno, who is working on the film as part of her bachelor’s project. The output of my bachelor’s thesis is a film poster, the documentary’s website, opening and closing credits, graphics for social networks and a crowdfunding campaign and a brochure.
The documentary film “The Value of a Person” shows the life of socially disadvantaged people from community housing in Senica na Hané. People who for various reasons found themselves without family and friends, financial income, a roof over their heads. On the basis of these factors they often “lost their value” for the social system. Because they ceased to be useful to society, they were “put aside”.
