Watermill Refreshments

This small business run by Zdeněk and Míša in Šanov is an absolutely magical place. You can help yourself to refreshments and sleep over while you’re surrounded by nature. And we thought it deserved a brand new visual style with its own websites, of course. Here is my design.

My approach to the web was untraditional, I wanted it to be full of ornaments and pictures, since it fit the pair. The illustrations depict their bond and hospitality.

The font “Fondamento”, that was most likely written with a dip pen, really spoke to me. It and the watermill logo create a nice pair!
