Web Presentation of the Bee World Museum

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to redesign the website of the Včelí svět Museum in Hulice, which introduces visitors to the life of bees in a playful and interactive way. The project included an analysis of the existing website, the definition of the target audience, the design of the information architecture, wireframes, visual style, and the partial implementation of the website presentation. The proposed solution transfers the principles of the museum exhibition into a digital environment and, in addition to providing information, offers users an interactive and educational experience about bees. The design also includes two colour modes – “See as a Human” (light mode) and “See as a Bee” (dark mode). These modes are based on the different ways humans and bees perceive colours and allow users to switch between a standard view and a stylised interpretation of bee vision.

The entire desktop prototype can be viewed in Figma: protoyp desktop. Part of the website is made using Framer Včelí svět Framer website. The Rive program was used for animations.

Inspiration for bee vision from the book What the Bees See

The design also includes a mobile interface – the prototype can be viewed here: prototyp mobile. The mobile version is partially processed using the Framer program: Včelí svět Framer website
