In my semester project on the theme “La vie est belle” (“Life is Beautiful”), I drew inspiration from pasta. Food is a part of our everyday lives, yet it continues to bring us joy and pleasure. Not only because of its taste, but also because of the moments we share around it. Dining together with family or friends often becomes an important ritual that connects people and adds greater value to ordinary days than we may realize.
I chose pasta not only because it is a popular dish enjoyed across generations, but above all because of its diversity. It offers a wide range of preparation methods, types, and shapes. The variety of its forms became the main inspiration for creating three designs in which I sought to translate the characteristic shapes of pasta into fashion design.
