Ever since I was a little kid, I can’t get rid of a single fear which I have.
*tick tack*
It’s a fear… it’s like the whole world gets stopped in one short moment when a chill goes over my back.

I keep making sure it’s all in my head. Frequently when I see the composition of objects, the shape of a shadow, or even just the movement of another person… it’s all too easy to follow my own imagination. At that moment, a potential image of something unsettling flashes in front of my eyes.
Usually it’s a body part or an entire figure. Often not even a person. Not really….

This work fuses my passion in drawing and painting the human figure with my fear of the dark. In designing this metal and glass kinetic installation, I kept the anatomy of the human body and my stylization of it into a puppet of fear from my own imagination at the core.
Sound and movement is included in order to create an impression of unease and just subtle fear.
The installation is accompanied by accompanying paintings, which record the idea of a skeleton that is slowly disappearing. As it fades away, the whole idea in the form of a glass platform as a projection screen of the whole story comes to a close. For the last time he tries to get out….
