Split, is a semestral work on the theme of amfora, must have. My main inspiration is in classical antic vases. But i also take it from light falling on the end of film negatives.
On the glass surface im creating „a split“ difference between light an shadow, this effect is created creating by sandblasting, the sandblasted surface is separated from the clear half by a straight line.
Im fascinated by film photos because of the unpredictability in its nature, this effect is even more noticeable at the beginning of the filmstrips where the unwonted light exposes the negatives, i find this effect most interesting.
Installation: projection of photos thru glass, a play of light and shadow.
