The knot, for me a symbol and a tool of connection.
The object of my work is a „turbánek“, which connects the ends of a scout scarf. This knot does not only fulfill a practical function, but for me it is also a symbol of values such as connection and belonging. The work combines not only the technical aspect of knotting, but also the personal relationship to these knots, which I have built since childhood as part of my scout life. In this context, the knot represents the intertwining of experiences, relationships and connections that form the perception of oneself and the connection with the environment. The scarf is an integral part of the installation, without the scarf the „turbánek“ would not be needed.
