The final outcome of the bachelor’s thesis is a design of a kitchen stand mixer intended for everyday home use. The product is based on the established typology of tilt-head kitchen stand mixers, which it further develops mainly in terms of form, visual expression and ergonomic solution. The characteristic feature of the design is a distinctive structural cut-out, which visually lightens the body of the product while also relating to the integrated bowl-heating function. The kitchen stand mixer is designed as a universal appliance that allows the use of additional attachments and supports a wide range of food preparation tasks. The final design also includes colour variants, one of which uses a two-tone solution. This variant corresponds with the concept of the ETA brand and follows its current colour palette and visual character of home appliances.
