The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a compact, functional, and aesthetically appealing camping box suitable for most SUV models from Škoda Auto. The solution is intended to offer the features of larger camping conversions in a smaller size and at a more affordable price. Market analysis revealed that no existing product currently meets these requirements. The thesis focuses on the design process, ergonomic studies, and the final solution. It also addresses the manufacturing and testing of a prototype, with the final design and functionality subsequently presented to Škoda Auto employees. The result is a fully functional prototype and an innovative design that supports outdoor activities, enhances travel comfort, and introduces new possibilities in this product category.
